How to Apply (Beginner‑Friendly Method)
- Prepare the surface
Clean your body shell thoroughly to remove dust, oils, and fingerprints.
- Cut out your chosen decal with transfer tape on it
Rough‑cut around the design you want to apply.
- Use the soapy water method about 5 drops of dish soap on 100ml water(shake it before use)
- Heavily spray the sticky side of the decal with soapy water
- Spray the same solution onto the shell
This allows the decal to slide into the perfect position.
- Position & adjust
Gently place the decal and slide it until aligned.
If it doesn’t slide, peel it back slowly by bending it backwards — this prevents cracking.
- Set the decal
Use a credit card or a squeegee to push the vinyl into curves, canards, deep gaps, and body lines.
This removes air bubbles and ensures a smooth, professional finish.**** Attention! ****
Before Applying Decals Must Know:
Never peel off transfer tape until your job is done!
Don't put all together at once!
Don't cut your decal in the air, use firm surface to cut it through without cracking it.
Scissors are not advised to use! (Use DIY Hobby Knife)
Never use heatgun or don't work in hot areas or around toxic hot fumes floating in the air!
Hot weather conditions, heat, fumes or heat gun hot air over 25 degrees of celcius activates the glue which may lead your stickers to become more sticky, dry faster and may ruin your work before it starts. Keep decals in cool area away form direct sun light...
Keep away from children!
Always use a freebies, test kits, or extra decals made as leftovers which are usually supplied to do a test-run for first time decorators.
After all finished put your shell away for 12 to 24 hours for decals to cure in and get best possible results.
